The Print World is making it’s comeback

The dreaded Pandemic. It destroyed many things in regards to businesses trading as “normal”, but one of the divisions that was hit harder than most in the Office World was print, design & marketing.

With staff working from home, people unable to travel, conference venues shutting their doors, we were all left wondering – Will it ever come back?, or if it does, in what form.

Roll on nearly 3 years later, and I am pleased to note that, incredibly, print and design has come back very strong within the ranks of Futurform. We have taken the opportunity to turn a few dark years from the past into a very positive and exciting future.

Business cards are back in a very strong way. We were all so tired of being holed up at home or in an office, and not being allowed to travel to other businesses. Now, though, there has come the time to be back out there, cold calling into new offices, or popping in to see old friends at existing clients. We at Futurform, are finding that we have the challenges to make the business cards smarter and more executive by adding laminate, block foil or to emboss. It’s important to rise from the pandemic looking and feeling better about ourselves and the companies that we work for.

The same goes for flyers, folded leaflets and multiple types of booklets. It seems that we are back pushing forward into advertising our companies, that for so long, stayed silent and unable to communicate to the outside World.

Events are back, meaning merchandise is back, with printed mugs, umbrella’s, soft toys and printed pens, to name a few of the popular items that has seen a surge among the Futurform team. For outdoor use, we have added flags, banners, and specialist scaffolding advertising, that enables something of little beauty to turn into a work of art! Pavement signs, Dibond and foamex signs, exhibition stands and walls, gazebo’s have also been added to make sure that our customers have everything available to make their day or weekend as successful as possible.

We at Futurform have always been dynamic, and along with my colleagues within the Print, Design and Fulfilment team, it is an exciting return to product research, to suit our clients needs and giving them added extra’s that enhance their advertising.

It’s been a tough ride out there, but we’ve stayed positive, and used the quiet times to research, plan and learn new skills to enhance our customers journey out of the pandemic and into the future. It really is exciting times, and I can’t wait!
